Hola, Buenos Aires!

It was a bit of an ordeal getting to Buenos Aires due to the first flight being delayed by 3 hours, but once the plane touched down and I was escorted by my awaiting taxi to the Art Factory Hostel, I was able to get some much needed rest, meet wonderful fellow travelers and see the incredible Capitol city of Argentina.

My first mission was to change money. The great front desk folks at Art Factory Hostel let me know where I would receive the best rates, and off I walked about half a mile through busy streets of stunning architecture, to arrive at and step down into the most elegant multi-story mall where I stood in line for half an hour to convert dollars to pesos.

Walking back through town I decided to explore the streets. The architecture, statues and parks are stunning!

My meanderings led me to along the waterway ….

…and then to a creatively great looking restaurant….

… which led to a delicious dinner of salmon salad!

It was the perfect finish to a long trip getting there! And the perfect beginning to the upcoming incredible adventure that Argentina held in secret!
